Carolyn has always had a love of pregnancy, birth, and caring for others during such an incredible time. She had her first child in 2012 at the hospital, which only increased her love of birth even more. After the birth of her son, Carolyn started college to pursue nursing where she eventually wanted to go into L&D. Once Carolyn discovered the world of Midwifery, she couldn't see herself doing anything else. After getting pregnant with her second child in 2017, she decided she wanted a different kind of care, the kind that she would one day be providing to others, and had her second child at home with midwives. Carolyn then went to Florida School of Traditional Midwifery in Gainesville, where she served multiple families around Florida, but spent her last year serving families local to her home, in the Ocala area. In Carolyns spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two children and husband, gardening, swimming in her pool, reading books, and getting herself into new projects around the house to occupy her time.
